This Privacy Policy explains what information THE258THPICK.COM ("we", "the site") collects and how it is used. We designed the site to collect as little personal information as possible.

What we collect

• Usage analytics. We use PostHog, an analytics service, to understand how the site is used — for example page views, game events (such as starting or finishing a career), device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction events. This data is used in aggregate to improve the product.
• Local game data. Your game progress, unlocked endings, achievements and display preferences are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us; clearing your browser data removes it.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) may process standard technical data such as IP addresses in server logs as part of operating the site.

What we do not collect

• We do not ask for or store your name, email address, or account credentials — the site has no accounts.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the site's market-information pages are not directed to anyone under 18.

Service providers

We share data only with service providers that operate the site on our behalf: PostHog (analytics), Netlify (hosting), and measurement partners whose code may appear on the site (for example, Impact.com link-measurement technology). Each processes data under its own privacy terms.

Third-party links

The site links to third-party platforms (for example, trading and wagering venues). Once you leave this site, those platforms' own privacy policies apply. We may in the future use referral links that compensate us for sign-ups; when we do, they will be clearly marked next to each link.

Your choices and rights

• You can block analytics with standard browser tools (content blockers) without affecting the game.
• You can clear local game data at any time via your browser settings.

Data retention

Aggregate analytics are retained for as long as needed to operate and improve the site. Local game data remains on your device until you clear it.
